ok. i was slowing down today and noticed a weird grinding noise. reason why i say weird is cuse it only happens every once and a while. and its not consistant enough to be brakes. just to be sure, i replaced the brakes, and sure enough. the problem stayed. anyone ever experience this before.

Slowing down when you were brake braking or slowing down by engine braking?

 

Ok. Its a grinding noise almost like brakes grinding, but its not brakes. i have no clue what it could or would be. its not the wheel bearings, nor is it the backing plate to the brakes.
My parents own a body shop. We had our tech look at it and he has no clue eaither. i just was wondering if anyone has experienced this before.

 

Any kind of deceleration.

Mine makes that noise too it only makes it ever so often it sounds like something lightly scraping on the backside of the rotor,i thought it was my pads only to find that they still had 80% left on them im clueless as far.
