peace of mind

While you have the plugs out why not run a compression test it's a 5 minute job.

Looks like pre-ignition.

Do compression first. If okay then change the fuel injector and knock sensor. If not okay you need engine work.

Where is the other "missing piece"? did it blow out the head, thru the turbo? How did it break? Piston hit it? I would look down there, and see what the piston looks like.

Its not broke, its tipped (burnt)....this happens a lot with high hp n2o kits....car ran lean and burned tip of plug off. If compression and leak down are ok install new plugs, re-tune, and count yourself lucky

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to do a compression test yet, I work a lot on the weekends so hopefully I can do it today or tomorrow.

you more then likely scrapped up the cylnder wall with the little pieces of porcline from the plug. hopefully when it passed through your engine it didn't do too much damage to your turbine wheel either.

Technically you should tear the engine down, inspect everything including the turbo, hone the cylinders, and replace the rings. But in theory you 'could' drive it for another 100k and not have anyother problems except for less performance.

So I would guess I should take it to a professional and have them check it out. This really sucks.
