hey guys im interested in purchasing a msd ignition system for my car with the launch control was wondering what model is good to run on the evo i have a 06 mr and would like to know evrything needed to make it work correctly if anyone can help me out please let me know

You need a MSD DIS-2. Here is a thread about my install:

I do not recommend the MSD for a daily driver.

 

Why would you go with a msd setup when you can spend $300 buck get the sun auto ignition and it does the same thing for less. And the 06 MR's come with 2step already. If you could find a way to put some type of anti lag in your car you will be set you can boost 22psi of the line. Thats what im running and im just jumping of the line like no other.

 

if you need a DIS-2 I've got one that I used for testing purposes. Only has about 5 hrs runtime on it. I'll let it go for 275 shipped.

 

sun auto and the MSD are very different things and you can build a ton more boost with the msd 2step.
