GSC Cams: How many IX owners plan to purchase?

After all we know, or better yet, the little we know about the GSC Cams for the EVO IX, I was just wondering how many IX owners still plan on purchasing them? I don't know, maybe I am in the minority, but I do plan on still purchasing them going off the possibility that they do indeed make power and I am simply tired of waiting on cams for the EVO IX.

I wish there was more info and a before and after dyno, but AMS says they make power and I trust their opinion, what do you guys think? I wish GSC could offer a little discount though until it is confirmed that power is being made over the stock cams, even power under the curve with some peak power would be nice.

I'm on the same boat as you man. I'll wait until I see some real gains with graphs. Until then I agree that there should be some sort of significant price drop if gains aren't guarenteed.

I would like to get the intake cam, but like Ralph, I'm going to wait for results.

As of right now they seem to be the biggest Evo "Placebo" out there.

You would think that after all the wait we could have some before and after results and concrete results.

I'm rather disappointed by the lack of transparency in the supposed test that was conducted. There were before and after pulsl made on the same dyno, yet no overlays have been posted. I asked a direct question about if any other changes were made to the car (did it have a cat before, and a tp now or anything like that?) after the "before" run, and that query went unanswered.

I'm getting the impression there is information that is being deliberately suppressed.

If they provide solid gains, and can illustrate that in a solid way (like any good company should), then I will buy them. Sketchy information will not move me to purchase.

I say we have 3000ways be the guinea pig in testing these cams out and do a before and after comparison to help the Evo community.

I would assume that they made little to no power over the stockers since it has taken so long to see any concrete information. Generally the excitement would drive sales, etc. Not feeling any of that here after a week...

I am definitely going to wait. Especially since Cosworth is supposed to have their cams ready towards the end of September. I have heard talks of two other companies in the process of making them as well and HKS will have their version eventually.
