Clutch feels different after brake bedding

So I had that infamous freeway-speed steering shake when lightly on the brakes, so I finally got around to re-bedding in my brakes the other day. I REALLY bed them in hard and I think I may have overdone it a bit. The brakes were smoking all over the place by the time I had finished punishing them. Afterwards (couple hours later) the brake pedal felt a little softer too. Also, I noticed that the clutch feels a little different, like it engages higher up now. I know that the clutch and brakes share the same resevoir; could I have possibly overheated the fluid close to the point of boiling it and this is why my clutch and brakes feel wierd now?

its possible, find out how much temparature it takes to get the fluid boiling, more then likely thats what u did, it dont hurt to change brake fluid every once in a great while, ppl under estimate brake fluid like it last forever.
