Mbc Vs Elec Boost Control

I am currently running a manual boost controller from my local shop, I currently have a full tbe, hks racing suction intake, arp studs, fuel pump, I just purchased a fmic and licp and have also purchased hks 272's, hks gears and an hks ssqv /w upper ic pipe, now what I am wondering is how will I benefit from having lets say a greddy profec b spec ii as oppose to the manual boost controller I have on now, please let me know the pros and cons and if its a waste of money or not to upgrade to the greddy profec b spec ii.

On a second note I have asked many people but I would love to hear all of your thoughts on what else if anything I should be purchasing to have installed at the same time ( for convenience ) while my shop is putting in the items I just purchased, I already got arp head studs and I actually ordered an hks extreme timing belt so please let me know your suggestions. Maybe some injectors?? but I thought i'd wait for those when I upgrade the turbo... so this is why I ask all of you knowledgeable people out there

Generally, the opinion you're gonna get on here is that you're better off with the MBC because they are pretty reliable, cheap and they get the job done. They arent as fancy looking but I think its safe to say you should just stick to your MBC.

I had a profec B in my DSM.

Pros:
Controls boost within cockpit
Separate boost solenoid, little to no boost creep
Allows greater, more precise adjustability

Cons:
Expensive
Harder to install

If you have the money go with the EBC, they are great for daily driving and adjustability but mbc work great too...

No, you just have to adjust the gain and the boost on the profec b.
