in a few months i want to be looking at getting cams but there are so many variations i dont konw what to do. the car is a definate daily driver so i dont want to sacrifice any of the low end power. 280s are pretty much out of the question for me. would i loose power down low with 272's? i also autocross the car so i would like a wide power band that keeps pushing to redline, would a combo like 272/264 be the best or what? i would like some opinions on this oh yah if money is no issue what company makes the best cams period ive heard great things from the jun cams and although it seems like everyone uses hks cams, from dyno charts it seems like other competing cams make more power. thanks in advance for the advice i would like to see what you say. oh yah i dont care about the idle i actually like a lumpy idol lol. and also what would be some good supporting mods to get at the same time other than the obvious tune

The HKS 264/272 combo is uber strong down low and nasty up top. I love mine.

A little OT, but what kind of changes to the power curve will be seen with a 264/272 vs. a 272/264?

comp 280's if on stock ECU.. If not go with JUN, Tomei, Revolver or Piper. Something high lift. Comp's are about the highest lift your gonna run safly on the stock MAS

+1. Had a friend that ran these, and the powerband was very good.

GSC 272/264 is my personal favorite of our cams. it wont hurt bottom end. and will actually make a flat tq curve on the top end given you can get the boost to hold up top(stock turbo with forge actuator or aftermarket turbo) . we made some increadible gains over HKS 264/272 setup going to our 272/264.
