Im gnna say doing the water pump at 60k is a little premature there. Also, I dont know if you have future plans to rock some crazy cams but springs and retainers are not needed for Crower 272s. Also, headstuds arent needed unless you plan on running some high boost, which you might hehe.

Im just doing it all since im in there. I like preventative maintenence. Always a good rule of thumb when doing a timing belt to do the water pump too. Just my past expierences. Your right itll probably be fine I dont want to scare everybody thinking they have too as well. Just this is the route im taking.

Preventative maintenance for things like the water pump are fine, especially if you have the cash, however... doing the head studs when you dont need them y ou can risk causing a leak in the HG, as a couple guys on the forums here have already experienced that. Also the springs and retainers are just a complete waste unless you plan on going over 8500rpm.. stock is absolutely fine to 8000, which most people really dont go to.

You dont need to change your tensioner. I changed both belts the other day. I had 48k on the car.

1. Im taking the head off the car thats why the new HG in my post. No 1 in 1 out for me
2. I would never do a timing belt in any car without changing the tensioner. Tensioners have been know to fail and not hold proper tension on the belt. Like I said Im just giving insight to my preventative maitenence decisions. Dont have to follow them and I know some might be overkill just things I want done while I have it apart.

Oh ok, head out yeah then def do the headstuds. I would for sure. No sense buying new stock ones. And I agree, I would ALWAYS change the tensioner.
