alfriedesq,

How hard was the e-manage system to program? Are the settings universal of would I need to have the car dyno-tuned? Thanks

I am thinking to work with Pruven to develop a emanage KIT - with a possible plug and play harness - mounting braket - detailed installations instructions and with several different tuning MAPS which would be pre-installed into the emanage - - we would make base maps for varios configurations of EVO's - eg. stock, cat back, boost controller - etc etc

The trick would be finding beta cars to tune on the dyno and the street and get some safe base lines that can work flawlessly in different cars that have the same level of trim

At this point its just a concept

If I can find a few beta testers in the NY area who want to have the emanage in their car - this can become a reality

You would be bascally runnng the exact same tune as I am - so it would b e easy - if you wanted we could test your car wth that tune and verfy that it works properly wth a EBC full 3" exhuast and air intake - - - basically that MAP is already done so all you would need to do is install the emanage in your car - we give you the program - come by the dyno for a few runs and the street test it and see if it works well on your car - - - lets put it this way - out of 5 EVO owners who took my car for a ride yesterday - ALL FIVE are getting the emanage set up

The dyno time would be free for you - bujt you would pay for the emanage

Let me know if you are interested and we can make the arrangements

My car is totally stock, but I'm afraid I'm too far away (I'm in Atlanta) ... Any chance of working something out with me? There is a shop with a Dynapack type of dyno nearby, and I would really like to do the e-manage mod.......

Well - my plans are to have a stock base map set up within two weeks time - I'll let you know when its ready ! We are going to make a whole series of different maps for different levels of modification - - the price should be very reasonable also

Thanks Al, by the way, are you thinking of marketing the e-manage along with the maps and the harness? I also wondered if some folks had already gotten the Fields harness extender yet.... That looks like a really good idea for our cars. I was thinking to have some body call them and see about buying some if they will work on our cars. I think that the likelyhood that they will work is very good. It would be a very well spent $100 in my book

Please post and pm me when you have more information, I'm going to be very keen on this thing...

Al,

I am glad to hear of all the success that your having, I would be very interested in purchasing that kind of setup. I hope that you can find enough support locally to go through with it. Good Luck

Hey Al, how's the project going? I'm very interested in the e-manage solution. Have you had any luck with stock EVOs yet?
Also, I'm thinking of going with a cat-back system of 3" SS with a pre-muffler and a Magnaflow muffler too. The manufacturer is VRS Exhaust of Miami and they are offering them for $480 plus shipping. They made the 3" turbo back I had in my WRX and it fit very well, but the sound was a bit too loud for me....
