HKS Megaflow intake......

I'm thinking about installing the HKS megaflow intake on my evo, boost soultions has a pretty good price on the intake. Anyone has this installed? not the HKS Racing Suction Kit, just the intake, is it bolt on or you need a mount? Anyone?

Can we make this just an HKS product inquiry? I would like to know bout the Suction Kit..I'd like the polished piping that it comes with but I'd also like to know the difference between that and the Megaflow intake. Sorry for the hijack, otherwise back on topic, I don't know anything about the Megaflow intake...

Well, here is the thing, the suction kit comes with everything you need to connect to the turbo, it also includes a MAF mount and polished pipes to the turbo. Nice kit, but it around $370. There isn't any difference between the Megaflow intake and the suction kit. The suction kit just comes with more stuff, and you get two filter elements. Otherwise the intake part is the same, size and all. My question is that I didn't see MAF mount included in the Megaflow intake package (the $140 one) so I was wondering if anyone knew just how bolt on is this?

So if the suction kit comes with the polished piping to connect to the turbo, then isn't that better (increased air flow) than stock?

BTW, couldn't you just buy the megaflow intake and then buy the hks suction pipe kit separtely and the total $ will be cheaper?

I'd rather keep a ram air design, cold air makes more power... besides there are some nice "airboxes" comming out on the market that are hella big and smooth flowing.
