I have a 06 MR with a full perrin TBE on it. At idle it has a very deep tone, at full throttle the best way to describe it is like having a cross between a GSXR750 & a Ferrari. With the test pipe it is loud, but never is it raspy. Below 3k the exhaust sounds very deep but not too loud. The fitment is perfect on a IX, on a MR you need to space the underbrace by 1-2 cm, no big deal. The tip is polished & sticks out about 1inch further than stock. I never get any soot or debree on my bumper with it like this. With just a TBE & intake I reach full boost at 2200-2400. Its a very good choice in my opinion.

get it!

You'll love it.
Fitment is perfect and it's really not that loud with a cat.

I got mine about 2months ago and love it.

I made those videos. I am glad somebody actually found them and watched them. I know they are pretty lousy quality, but better than nothing. Anyways, I couldn't be happier with my Perrin TBE, I recommend getting the Full TBE. The cat back is good start, you just won't get that much out of it because of the restrictive stock downpipe and cat. The Perrin TBE fit perfect on my O5, I got the cusco front tie bars so the downpipe doesn't hit anything. It sounds great, not too loud at cruising speeds, but when you get in boost, it sounds really nice. Don't listen to all the haters out there....

Another satisfied Perrin Catback owner here. We have pretty high standards at my household as well, considering my brother has an STI with a HKS Carbon-TI TBE. We just shot some video this weekend so I will do my best to get some audio up for anyone else who is interested. I'm a bit of an audiophile so I'll try to get a nice quality sound file for any future references of Perrin's exhaust. FYI, I plan on getting their downpipe and reseaching a HFC in the not to distant future.

The car already has a Megan manifold and O2 housing (previous owner started backwards) so I'm really looking forward to finishing off the exhaust side and will be bringing it to Scott @ TTP for another custom tune. Thanks for the vids and review...

I just tuned this car a few weeks back right?

Let me know if you need help with parts, installation and it appears we will be custom tuning it again in the near future.
