What are your goals?...... that will determine the type of clutch you will need

hp, track use, lots of spirited driving? If you are going to for about 450 hp max with occasional track use then Stage 1 ACT will do. If you are trying to build an AMS killer (well now Burshur holds the fastest time last I read) then twin disc or higher is required.

ok. I have the same goals in mind, I was advised by several shops (I called over 10. inlcuding AMS, Burshur, and some other shops on the East coast) that a ACT 2900 Pressure with Street Disc and Lightened Flywheel (if you could afford it do so you wont have to take everything aprt again) will do. Pretty much that is a Stage 1 ACT setup which "should hold almost 500 lb-tq" You can find some great deals on here from several vendors

You dont have to go with ACT, I tried researching on ACT versus Exedy but couldnt find a definate winner out of the two. But I am about to go put that clutch setup as I type I will let you know how it goes tonite or tomorrow

I have a Ralliart clutch with a lightened flywheel (basically, it's a Exedy Stage 2 3-puck cerametallic.)

Streetable enough (barely) for a daily driver, and rated to 450hp.

Took a bit to get used to it, but don't think I'll ever go to any other clutch type. Slippage & the smell of burnt clutch is a thing of the past...

I'm using the ACT Super Street setup. It works good for lower power applications, but I would suggest the Extreme for a 450whp setup.

damn miguel, that sucks big time and just right after wasting money on power mods now you have to spend even more on buying and installing a new clutch, ouch!

I hope you can get it fixed ASAP and at least thank god that it was only the clutch and not a gear or the transfer case!!!
