Cannot decide on universal muffler...

I have a custom magnaflow turboback on right now and I kinda don't like the muffler. I want to get a new muffler to get a better tone. I was thinking either hks high power universal or apexi N1. The high power is $289 for the carbon ti, $220 for the stainless, and the apexi N1 is $189. What is worth the buy?

The tone will almost be the same. I have the Megan Racing universal N1... a little too loud for my liking, but it does the job, it's 3" with no tapers.

HKS HiPower has a taper in the muffler which can be removed with some work. All Apex'i N1s are LOUD.

well I have a magnaflow muffler and it is loud already. The only problem is that I do not like how it sits. The universal hks high power mufflers do not taper at all. I was wondering which one sounds better and is worth the price? I have a full turboback without a cat or resonator.

Is there a difference in tone between the hks or the megan?

I have a custom exhaust with an N1 on it and its pretty quiet if its warmed up, when its idling high because its cold it can be a little loud.
