I apologize if this is a violation of the forum rules, but this is not a business venture or anything seeking any sort of profit. We are a private race team just doing some flow testing and I thought 1 or 2 guys here could benefit from this.

I am doing some flow testing over the next month and I need a couple 4G heads. What I can offer you guys as somewhat of an incentive is a full rebuild with a nice valvejob, and I can even offer some bowl porting, short turn porting, and a real competition valvejob. This is nothing like you will get with some aftermarket shelf valves. I will install oversized valves if you provide the valves. There is a very small amount of money involved, but that is only to cover some of the equipment usage and consumables. Flow testing is performed on a SuperFlow SF1020 bench and all valve work and surfacing is done with top of the line precision Sunnen equipment. I will need your head for 2-3 weeks...and no longer.

Basically I will do the following while I have the head:
• Disassembly and inspection
• Hot tank and media blast to a new finish
• Check all surfaces for straightness
• Inspect valvetrain parts
• Bowl port work
• Short turn port work
• Competition valve job
• Resurface
• Reassemble and Leak and Vacuum test

There is some confidentiality, but if anyone is interested please PM me. Again if this is in violation of any forum rules I do apologize and please offer me some suggestions on grabbing a head or two. Race budgets get tight now so if I can save 10 grand on some flow testing and help a couple guys out in the process it is a win/win situation.

Wow I'm suprised that there is not more interest in this. One person has stepped up and I just need one more. What I am offering is a couple grand in free work just for helping me out with some 2 week flow testing. I realize that it is hard to trust sending your head to a random "race team" to do work for fear of this being some jackleg in their garage tinkering with your head with no experience. This is not the case and more info will be given if you decide to jump on this offer. We have a state-of-the art private facility with the BEST equipment that we share with an IRL team. We have a great deal of experience with the 4G, and are just wanting to perform a simple test. This is a non-profit private race team, so it is not possible for me to provide a list of a bunch of people in the industry using our heads. We do NOT sell anything to anyone...we only use our stuff on cars we are affiliated with. I can say that the one person that jumps in on this deal will not be disappointed.
