YO, got my 9, runing amazing but the strive to tune is still their, got a couple of questions, my plan is to target the 580 to 650 whp , daily drive, and on the track,

1. Need a turbo that will spool from around 3000 rpm...... any recomendations

2. Cams? anything apart from works, or has someone tried them, did not see any reviews, did HKS launch theirs.

3. offcourse im going to go for a MoTec..

we run 98 octan fuel in dubai.. so yep more power i guess....

Sorry to **** on your parade, but you bought the wrong car, should have bought a vette. It's quite hard to have a 650whp daily driven evo that you can take on the track that won't need to go the shop every few weeks.

realized your not in the US, so i'm sure the vette is way over priced, non the less there are more likely better options, but my guess is your gonna need a freaking huge turbo maybe gt42

Wow, got cash!?

MoTec systems are around $4k untuned. I would look at either a built 2.0 or a 2.3 depending on the turbo but you are going to sacrifice spool for 580-650whp. I would do a 2.3 stroker with a 35r. With all the supporting mods and a GREAT tune you can hit 650whp.

soo,
Built head (not sure on wahts available for cams)
1200cc inj
Meth inj.
ect. ect.
Be ready to sign a blank check!!!

/\ I agree, but yea you would need a gt37/gt40/42/45 ect somthing huge . . . wouldn't be that great a daily driver.

as far as cams go, revolver or jun, but again not the best for daily driven.

"offcourse im going to go for a MoTec" this isn't fast and the ferocious
I would go with aem if anything

It must be nice to run 98 octane, but is it true 98? maybe with that octane and allky/meth inj. you might be able to come close to that and still drive it daily on a GT35r. IDK just my own .02

Good luck with your quest for the the holy grail

It's possible. With that much power, you're going to have to rebuild the bottom end anyway, so figure on a 2.3L stroker. That'll help your daily driveability! Nothing spools at 3k; not even stock though. If you want that much power, expect spool around 4600rpms, but a stroked redline of like 8500-9k!

Check the AMS forums and their website. They've built a few customer cars that are doing this. Dan's got a white one out west and Chris's black one in Florida...

Oh it's definately possible, but every week he will be thowing more money at it. And as far as a daily driver any car could be a daily driver, would you really want to though?

Your going to need to build EVERYTHING on the car i'm sure. You will be snapping driveshafts and just have bunch of random probs. Just think of all the big HP vendor cars who could run faster down the 1/4 mile but had problems with the car. You're going to want to live close to your tuning shop and make good friends with them.

I have the same done to my car , not sure about the 3000 spool though

go with the following

AMS or Buschur 2.0 or 2.3 forged internals
AMS GT37R
Cosworth head or AMS ported head or Buschur head
Jun 272 cams
AMS intake mani
Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust
SMC / AMS alcohol injection kit (for safety as its soooo hot in Dubai)
Motec M800

good tunning on 98 octane w/alcohol should get 550 whp on a good day , which is over 600-650 hp

and go eat those vettes
