I'm sure you know this, but it is all about hp/lb, CD, and gearing, and of course traction. There is nothing inherently special about a supra in fact there are 3 mustangs that have destroyed the supra drag radial record that everyone used to brag about on SF. David Wolfe just ran a 7.40@197mph on 15'' drag radials on a 10.5"W tire. The key is domestics are starting to use turbos very readily now. 140mph traps are almost common place these days. A local cobra just dynoed at 910whp on pump/Torco at 22psi should see over 1000whp as he turns it up. A TT vette just clicked off a 5.65@119mph in the 1/8 that's 8's in a street car.

Average HP over the RPM range being used. EVO's are very strong from a slow roll 40-140mph above that CD and gearing are usually too much to overcome. Of course from a dig they are strong too.

It would be a good race from 40-140mph from a 60-80 kick it would be all over IMO. It's just benchracing until it happens though.

Great set up.

You going with JP instead of RREV? You're such a *****! Still planning to tune it on 50/50 meth or are you gonna go 100%?
I was talking to Carmella from Jackson Machine shop and she made sure and corrected me that i had a 102mm crank going into a 2.0 liter =2.3 lol
The tuner works for chris at horsepower freaks. I plan on getting two maps one a c-16 map and then 100%meth with pump gas map

I dont get why each supra owner wants to race from a roll

If you bore your cylinders to 86MM + the 102MM crank you get a 2.370 or 2.4L.

If you keep the bore size at 85MM or 85.5MM + the 102 crank you get a 2.3....

So do you know what piston size you are running?

Any reason why you went with such a small turbo?

I didnt go with the 42r because of the lag and talking to other shops all of them say the use nitrous to spool it off the line when drag raceing. I would rather have a turbo that still is very street fun and make awesome #s at the track. i didnt think a 67mm wheel was that small lol

You are thinking about the smaller turbo that Apexi sells in their kit and someone else makes (can't remember name). IFarted is going to run the T67 P-trim. It's about as crazy as you can get without going to the 42R and keeping it streetable.

You got me the brian crower kit is 86 mm on the bore so it is 2.4

Well for starters mine doesn't have a cage in it. Second, I'm not ashamed to admit that I'd rather race a Evo from a dig than a Supra due to the Supra's traction issues. However, until I get beat from a roll on, (and you actually agreeing to race me from a roll since I think you know you'll get smoked ) I'll stick with whats a Supras strong suit. I'll even race from 40-140 to alieviate the 140+ Supra gearing. Hows that for a friendly challenge!
You even know my setup to make it fair!
