Bang for the buck there is little question... I am a bit biased though. However, I've also compared it to many others at dyno days, and can't help but smile every time I crank the car up. The Megan may not make the max power. It might not get those "mad JDM" points, but at the end of the day it is in the top of the heap when it comes to aesthetics, sound, and at the top for over all performance per dollar.

The Megan is bolt on with hardware included, and was the quietest (of the full, true 3" systems) at my last two dyno days with basic bolt-ons.

If someone wants one, they need only do a search on "Megan" with "Zeus" as the user to see who the go to guy is for this product line. (end of pitch)

The Carbon Ti muffler necks down inside to 2.5" I own this exhaust thats why i know. I have removed the 2.5" neck down and didnt feel any difference on butt dyno or in the nosie department.

i like the HKS, my friend has the megan, sounds kind of sick.. its on a evo9, maybe its cause the mivec that it sounds different.

my friend has HKS on his 1G DSM, and it sounds VERY VERY Good, one thing you can do is just cut the bottleneck off, and a couple inches of welding a new peice and flange. its a very very good sounding and looking exhaust.

I have the Megan CB and it's good. It's loud and does drone a lot. During regular driving it sounds kind of ricey (3" tbe will sound ricey, sadly) but at wide open it sounds pretty good. you definitely can't beat the price. I got the Megan because it's well made but still cheap. I got mine used (but never installed) for under $300 including shipping. I don't care about JDM anything personally, I used the money I saved to buy a wideband. For what it's worth I managed to put together my TBE (including an O2 housing) for $575.

"Ricey"... You sure you got a Megan catback and not just a Megan muffler of some sort? I've never had one sound "ricey". Matter of fact, until today, I've never seen Megan catback and "ricey" in the same post!

At my last two dyno days, I've heard the Megan compared to just about ALL the most popular exhausts. It was the quietest, and least "ricey" of them all... and that was mine that has been on the car since 04'. The Megan's never sound "tinny", or buzzy. Matter of fact, they are on the lower end of the sound spectrum.

Don't be mislead, I'm not offended (in the least bit), I'm confused!

I vote HKS simply for the cool carbon muffler. The Megan does look like a quality exhaust though. I like the bends in the Megan as well. If only the RnR had the "JDM" bends for more flow. It probably won't matter unless you're pushing crazy numbers though.

They all look sweet, good luck on your purchase.

Yes, I'm sure it's a Megan catback.

I got my megan from Zeus and couldn't be happier. It looks good, goes on easy, and sounds nice. At idle it has a low rumble, and doesn't sound like a bumble bee when under higher RPMs.

Thanks guys... I'm talking to Megan about doing V-bands... I'd mentioned it a year or two ago, but they never acted on it. We will see.
