I know MIVEC already has an adjustable cam gear on the intake, would it be worthwhile using an adjustable cam gear on the exhaust when running aftermarket cams?

The ex cam gear and camshaft gave only about 6kw more topend but gave about 15whp throught the midrange so torque has gone up.
Are there any other mods I can do to increase hp without changing the stock turbo? as like the respones of the stock turbo!
