Need Opinions: Injen Ic pipe kit

for those with the injen IC pipe kit how do u like it? do u have any problems with it at all?

if this isnt the best IC pipe kit out there then what is.. im looking for the best IC pipe kit that uses the OEM battery, ive been looking at a few but after doing some searching everyone has mixed reviews as to which is the best

EDIT: i dont think the injen kit comes with a LICP, i would be looking for a kit will all the piping including a LICP

dont bother with getting a upper intercooler pipe, no gains. just get the lower intercooler pipe if you are looking for a couple hp.

Injen offers two versions which either includes the intake portion or you can opt for the full i/c piping one. I have the intake one and I couldn't be happier.

I have installed several and the fitment is pretty darn good comparing what the competition has to offer. The only kit that I have found to fit better was the horsepowerfreaks kit and that was a kit that came with a small battery...

do not buy the helix...its perfectly fiine to mix two different companies for whole kit, upic and licp are totally separate pieces...

Waste of money, Much better bang for the buck if you got with a flash and simple bolt ons.

How does a flash and bolt ons help him with a hose blowing off with tbolt clamps?

You can find used Injen UICPs for around $100. I think there is a guy on SoCalEvo that is selling one for $110 and one on the FS forums here. I personally dont like how the pipe size changes on the Injen, not smooth like AMS' or one size all the way through like Buschur's.

i have the nisei, unreal quality and fitment, but you need a small battery

the helix kit is the upper and lower pipes, and uses the stock battery

listen to everyone else though, marginal gains for an uicp, which dont warrant the cost. Get a LICP, good gains, spool is helped, etc

for the licp you cant go wrong with AMS, Buschur, Nisei, etc..what i really like about the nisei stuff is that it has brackets like the stock ic pipes, so to me it feels like its secured a little better

I've got the Injen UICP and Intake kit and love it. I recommend getting that and then maybe the new Nisei lower pipe which is less than $200 IIRC. This will solve your pipe blow off issues, give you a great intake proven to make power with a tune, and a great lower pipe that will add power, not to mention the great look of the polished Injen upper pipe and intake.

You will need a tune.

Make sure if you get the Injen UICP that you get the intake as well otherwise it will take some modifying to get it to fit with a different intake...
