I just had my EVO 9 tuned and it's currently making 208kw at the wheels. The tuner said my injectors are running at 93% duty cycle.

I thought the EVO 9 comes with 560cc injectors, so shouldn't that be good for up to 280kw or so?

So why is my injectors running at 93% or is that normal

Any other mods? They do come with 560's. Id check over the tune.

do you have a walbro fuel pump? A good fuel pump should lower your duty cycle a little

My mods are Haltech E11v2 ECU, TBE & IC piping, drop in filter and turbo inlet hose.

It's boosting at 22psi max.

Could the tune over run the injectors?

I haven't considered a fuel pump yet, since I hear stock runs at 235l, but hearing you say that, it's next on my list.

You need a fuel pump.

Sounds like your not cutting enough fuel out. You should be able to run less timing and take more fuel out. You shouldn't need a fuel pump with minimal mods like exhaust and intake on the IX.

Walbro 255 fuel pump is usually one of the first 3 mods we do here in the US--1) TBE, 2) Walbro 255, 3) flash (w/MBC). If you're tuning with a Haltech, you must get a Walbro IMO.

Thanks guys, I'll get the Walbro pump. Why is it a must with the Haltech ECU?

Also with the pump should I still run less timing?

I think most tuners use the pump as a bandaid... I'd take what most people are saying with a grain of salt.

Hey Stance, just read what MRT said about the fueling on page 9.
