Some help please from the ex DSM peeps

I have the opportunity to buy a 95 eagle talon AWD real cheap (almost free) Has bent valves. What evo parts can I use in this engine? I have every possible evo part available. Cams, cranks, pistons, rods, head, manifold, turbo. Hell I even hae an evo motor. Can I use any of my old stuff to put this rig back together and turn her into a track ****?

Technically you could use almost everything but none of the above parts will help your bent valve situation. You should sell the Evo parts and buy a 6 bolt block to put in the 95 when replacing the head. Most likely you have more problems than bent valves if the bottom end has never been touched.

(slow deep voice): I'm talkin about crankwalk baby.

Chorus: Crankwalk!

I can trade you any part you need for this application for EVO parts. PM specifics. Also would be interested in an EVO head outright.

I have verified that the BOVs are interchangeable. I think everything else that would help you with the 2g is too different to use. Most of the motor stuff is not the same because it spins the wrong way, but the rods and pistons could be compatible. I would not count on it though. Turbo, manifold, etc, is all useless, since the 2g motor is turned around but still has the intake on the back of the head and the turbo in front.
