HFC takes a poop.

So I hear a rattle that sounds like maybe something is loose on the exhaust. So tonight I put my car up on our lifts at work and it appears that the core inside the HFC is loose. Whats strange is there is no audible difference now that the core seems loose inside, I would think it'd sound clogged or something if the car is revved but it doesn't. I put this on my car in the spring of this year and purchased it from Buschur this past winter as part of his stage 1 kit. So my question is, are these HFC's known to crap out so early I mean I didn't even have this thing on the car for a year not to mention it's probably only seen about 3k in miles. I'm tempted to email Buschur and see if they will replace this ( doubting it though). I think it's kind of rediculous but I wanted to get input before I do anything.

I already have a test pipe and I put the HFC on because I wanted something a little quieter but I guess I'll put it back on instead of buying another one of these rubbish Catco cats. My stepfather had one on his focus that lasted like a year and a half and the core came loose on his as well.
