Redline!!

what are you guys shifting at..
at 7000 0r 7500 or something else

should keep her below the redline till broken in. Then I'm not sure if you will see any benifit from shifting over redline. Shift a bit sooner and let the turbo do the work... 6,500 - 6,800 RPM's .

I assume your engine is stock

Yes, definitely shift before redline; a few hundred rpm's before as stated above since the engine seems to have very little output at or above 7,000rpms. Shifting before redline will keep it in it's powerband much better.

Seems strongest short-shifting in first (6-6.5K) then running up to 7K in the other gears.

To me, it seems that every time I wait till 7k to shift (regarless of gear), my acceleration is slightly slower, though I don't have any official timeslips to go along with my perception.

I just try to keep it where it feels it's pulling the best. I'm not sure where it is but I know it's at least 500 below redline.

I agree, the last 500 rpms seem to drag out. I tend to shift around 6300 - 6500
