Turbo for BC 2.4

Howdy All,
New to the world of Evos having had mainly Eurotrash - 3.6 911s, 944 Turbo and more recently Nissan and Toyota RWD JDM stuff - 681rwhp R33 GT-R, 436rwhp S15 etc etc.
Have picked up a 7 GT-A from Auction in Japan and am currently speccing up the engine build for it. Looking at running the Brian Crower 2.4 Stroker, but running a stock configuration internal gate turbo. Will be run on Motec with appropriately sized injectors. Not chasing huge numbers as there is a limit to what the auto box will be able to handle.
Was thinking of one of the Evo 9 Turbos with the upgraded 20g wheels. Just wondering what you guys are all running on your 2.3s and 2.4s.

There are a bunch of IX series White Rabbit compressor-wheeled options but in your case you should probably go for either one of the two larger, clipped, turbine-wheeled hybrids, i.e. 1) the F.P. EvoGreen(aka, Buschur 20G LT), or, 2)the more exotic Turbo Dynamics' Evo 9 GT turbo.

There are some other options such as the ATP kits and the Vishnu adapter collar if you want to go with a better breathing Garrett 3076/3037 with a .82 turbine housing while still retaining the factory exhaust manifold.

There are a lot of guys running strokers on this board who can help you with cam selection. With the bigger displacement, longer stroke, you'll have additional low end torque, so you can opt for a bit more radical cam profile than you could with a 2 liter.

I am wondering why you went with an auto? To each his own, but I would be worried about how much torque that auto tranny will be able to handle.

I went with an Auto because I really wanted a 7, but all the manuals at auction were pigs, and the GT-A interior is sooo much nicer, plus its Wine Red Metallic - which is a GT-A only colour. My commute is bumper to bumper most days and riding a twin plate is not fun. The other thing a GT-A had going for it was I can convert it to paddle shift...
Was even thinking of going back a little and fitting a TME Terb.
Looking at a set of the BC 272s for sticks.

I currently have a 2.3 20g in my evo1. It is the most enjoyable car to drive as a daily driver. The power in firth gear from 3-4000 makes me laugh every time. I also own a 2520lb 2d awd car with 4g63 It was built with a 2.4 and I tried a handful of turbos on the car. 57trim, 57BB, 30r, 25g, 50trim, and 35r. I dont know how much power your automatic tranny will handle. But I do know I have driven a handful of different turbo A/T cars. One thing is for certain. The faster the turbo spools and makes torque the more enjoyable the car will be. I would highly recommend the new FP green. Its the fastest spooling turbo you can put on a 2.4 without killing the powerband up top.

Turns out I can get a TD06SL2-20G. We've used L2 Spec TD06s on 2L SRs with good results. Should be near on perfect for the 2.4.
Have picked up a spare box and tc so will crack it open when it gets here and we'll see what we can do to beef it up. Fujimura Auto are running a Tomei 2.2 in a GT-A with an SL2-20G, all they have done to beef it up is run a big cooler and an electric pump.

While I dont have the service manual in front of me, however, it is possible to turn the line pressure up in the 5 speed autos by dropping the pan and turning in the screw. I'll see if I cant find a diagram and be a little more help.
