boost problem

boost problem

Hey guys need some help. I just got a 50 trim from turbotrix and I cant lower my boost. My manual boost controller screw is all the way out and it wont go bellow 25 pounds. Open for suggestions Thanks Dan

Did you use this MBC with your previous setup? If this is a new MBC, maybe you need to try a different spring (although I doubt this and you can test with a boost / leak tester and see at what PSI the MBC starts to bleed).

It may be that your WGA is not really opening that much. Given that you have a new turbo and WGA, I am guessing that you need to adjust your WGA. Although I think you should be running much more than 25psi with a 50 trim ....

Maybe you need to lower the preload on the WG...maybe? It really isn't that difficult it just involves slicing up your knuckles on the radiator fins

I have a hallman boost controller not the pro.
How do you change the tension on the wastegate
