how does the exedy street twin compare to the stock clutch

sorry if this has been posted before guys.how does the exedy compare to the stock clutch, reason iam asking is that my clutch is starting to slip at higher rpms.I work at carmax and we wholesaled a evo that had alot of mods done to it and the clutch was really graby. It was really hard to drive and stop and go would be a nightmare, you had to feather the clutch soo much to stop the car from jerking. I am wondering if the exedy is like this and if so is there a clutch that is the complete opposite. thanks

What is a street twin? Are you referring to the Twin HD cerametallic or what?

It is nothing like the stock clutch - strange question - but I'm not sure what you want to know.

I drove an Exedy triple cerametallic..... drove hella smooth! A bit on the touchy side, but it actually felt more "precise" in pedal feel.

i believe it is the exedy twin hd.
What i want to know is how touchy is this clutch compared to the stock clutch. Is it a bad clutch for daily driving, iam not worried about how stiff the pedel is just how it engages.

I dont find the exedy twin HD to be very "grabby" at all... it is quite easy to modulate.... make sure you remove the restrictor pill in the slave.

we had used a few other clutches, and I really prefer the twin for a daily driven car.... my wife could even drive ours....

I think you would be quite pleased....

cheers
