Need HELP with EBC install

Hey guys I'm installing my first EBC. Trying to do as much install myself on the Evo. After this one though I may pay the pros I've got new hoses running from the turbo and actuator now. I have the Blitz SBC-iD. I'm about to mount the Blitz solenoid unit where the stock one is under the air box. QUESTION!!!? There's a hose that runs from the T between the turbo and the actuator. No problem. There's ANOTHER hose that taps into the pipe duct that leads from the turbo to the air box. Do I NEED the stock solenoid in place on top of the Blitz one or can I just remove that hose and the stock solenoid altogether? I'm guessing I'll get a Check engine light if I remove it but want to make sure. From previous cars I'm pretty sure the stock solenoid was always replaced with the aftermarket.

Last but not least it has a hose running from the controller box to a T. One hose from the T is supposed to connect to the intake manifold after the throttle body. But it doesn't say where the second hose runs to. Man, I'm a newb at this and wish I had better install instructions. Anyone know of where there might be better documents?

Brief instructions for a MBC, should get you where you need it for your EBC.

Remove vac line from wastegate actuator. Disconnect lines from factory solenoid. Disconnect line from MAF pipe and place cover over nipple. Disconnect line from turbo outlet and place cap over nipple. Locate line from intake manifold to blow off valve. Place tee in that line. Run Boost controller between Wastegate actuator nipple and tee between intake manifold.

Hope this helps.

ur stock setup will have a T where the actuaor is tied to the output pipe on the turbo, take the T off and run the line from the output pipe on the turbo to the IN on the blitz solinoid. Run the OUT of the blitz solinoid to the actuator... Take bothlines off the stock solinoid and cap them if you please...... Don't forget to cap the line going to the air intake duct from the stock solinoid.

Happy boosting
