I have the perrin catback with helix test pipe and TTP downpipe. I love the sound and ABSOLUTELY love the way it sits. If it wasnt polished it would look like the stock piece. I may actually spray paint it black. The catback sits perfectly centered and comes straight out. I am not a fan of the angled "JDM" look so this was the biggest factor for me.

At idle it really isn't loud at all. On the highway with the windows up it isn't bad. At WOT it simply screams. I daily drive my evo RS and am very happy overall.

Here's a good quality clip another member made recently:

I couldn't find the original thread to give credit to who made it but hopefully he'll see this thread and claim it.

With US bumper, tip sits flush with the bumper.
You definitely want to invest in cf heat shield like carbign craft though.

Sorry, already answered.

i have the perrin and like it a lot. deep tone, sounds stock at idle, gets a little loud at like 3k and sounds great at wot. it does stick out a bit on the us bumper. stuck out when i had the stock downpipe and cat, and still sticks out the same distance with a espilir downpipe and ultimate racing cat.

anyone know what it looks like with the jdm bumper? i want one so bad but im worried how the exhaust will look

I have a perrin downpipe and perrin test pipe, plus a resonated catback. The sound at idle is very very deep (vibrates my entire house) but is not very loud at cruising speeds. At WOT it screams =)
