Engine shaking badly at stop!!

My engine is shaking badly when I come to a stop. Does anyone know what is causing this? Haven't had time to go to Mitsui yet...

Sounds like a mount to me. Maybe a loose crossmember?

Yep has to be motor mount, violent shaking at stop, and if your moving the shaking cools down cause your lifting the engine off the mount, maybe that 1 mount blew, try to get a set of 4 , if u dd get softer ones

I agree with the boys above, motor mount is my guess also. Or outside chance a squirrell hung up in the alternator belt.

You might have to take it in the the dealer (as scary as that sounds) and take them on a test drive for a bit to see if you can get it to do it. Nothing is loose or disconected, broken (motor mounts look right)? No CEL?

hey guy here the update. the car is now fluttering at idle. When I drive off the highway and leave my turbo timer on the car flutter like it going to shut off. I check everything that could be a cause. NO Cel light yet and the dealers told me to leave the car there but the problem is they are not giving me a loaner car. Stupid Mitsubishi dealer. I also just had my alarm/remotestarter/turbo timer install about a week ago.. Could that be the problem? MY last resort is to take it to the dealer after I get out of work today.

Did the problem start right after the install of the alarm/remotestarter/turbo timer? If so then disconnect it to see if that fixes the problem.
