Crower Cam Question

I Have A Friend Who Is Getting Rid Of A Brandnew Set Of Crower 280 Cams, Springs And Retainers. I Currently Have Turbo Back Exhaust, Intake Upper And Lower Intercooler Piping And A Profec B Spec 2 Boost Controller. Are Cams My Next Step? Also Will I Be Fine To Drive On These Without A Tune Or Will That Need To Be Done As Well? Do I Also Need To Invest In Cam Gears And A New Timming Belt. I Have Never Done Any Internal Modes So What Should I Expect And What Do I Need?
Thanks

like the above post says, you will need a tune for sure. I don't know how well or if the car will run with 280's w/o a tune (probably like crap, but i think it will run, however, don't quote me), so I would recommend getting a shop to do the work and flash at the same time.

as for timing gears, you don't need them right now. what are your future plans with the car? you should have a outline of what you want to do with your ride, and that would determine if you need cam gears or not. all depends on how far you plan on going with your ride.

a stronger timing belt wouldn't hurt, but is not a must have.

also, be advised that the 280's will be making that car run a lot rougher at idle that stock. but oh what fun at WOT!
