Intercooler piping and BOV

So I got my intercooler and piping in today and theres a hole for the BOV. I want to reuse my stock BOV when i asked the guy how to do it he said install the BOV backwords. I dont understand what or how to do it. Im kinda a newbie anybody have any idea? Also if i change my BOV to an aftermarket one how do I block the old place where the stock BOV was. Sorry i appreciate any help you can give me.

The stock BOV is supposed to recirculate into the intake. What year is the evo , and what aftermarket BOV are you going for?
