I had my HKS 272s put in about 3 weeks ago and got a dyno tune from AMS. Everything was good until today,when my car started to make this weird BB bullet in a spray can shaking sound when the car is at idle. The ticking sound can only be heard when you are outside of the car, nothing can be heard while sitting in the car. Is the car knocking? Or it's the normal cam ticking sound? Thanks!!!

 

You probably got one bad lifter.

 

can u hear it loud underneath the hood?

 

I have bled the lifter. The sound is not loud loud, but is noticeable without opening the hood

 

Sounds like a bad lifter(s) man...i got the same exact problem...i am going with the Jackson Auto Machine Lifters...They have a special for $150-$160 with free shipping for all 16 lifters...cant go wrong with that...
