I pulled mine and it made the clutch feel so much better . The clutch actually grabbed instead of feeling sloppy when leaving hard . As for the consequences , hearsay from some are it shocks the drivetrain harder when launching .

The restrictor is to prevent abuse to the drivetrain. So if you drag the car don't remove it!

Do remove it if you daily drive your car, road race and you are a competent driver who realizes that it benefits you to care for your equipment. The engagement is more positive. But once again drive smooth and don't speed shift like a maniac! Because you will get a harsh thump if you dump the clutch with every shift.

It all about car control.

If you don't launch your car very often and you know how to shift smoothly, I would get rid of that pill ASAP.
I took it out about 4 months ago and has improved engagement tremendously.

But be warned...if you do clutch drops often, say bye bye to your tranny.
