noob Jack point question

I know where the rear jack point is (have the service manual), I'm wondering if I can just jack up the rear for rear diff fluid change, or am I suppose to jack up the front first then the rear.

I have to jack up the front pretty high in order to change all the tranny fluid, i felt like if I jack up the rear only, something bad is doom to happen.

thankx

personally, I prefer to (if I'm going ot jack up the car) to jack it up level off the ground. Just make sure you're not working under that car on jack "lifts".. that's just asking for a crushing. jack-stands are you friend. But to be honest... from a mechanical point of view.. I don't see why you'd 'have' to jack up both ends. I could be wrong though.
