This morning i was playing/racing a Cobalt SS and we were both running a little on the hard side.

it was early i couldnt see my tach too well so i managed to hit the rev limiter twice (dumb *** me i know) however that i thought was weir is that when i got the light which i had to stop fast and hard at it, my foot was on the clutch. the car had just stopped and the rpms where still comming down from 7-6k rpms. I just thought i was weird.

The only thing i can think of is that i was so hight up on the rpms and i stopped faster than then engine could go down to zero???

I just want to make sure this is normal bc it has never happened to me in another car before.
