Forge MBC Part #FMCB051

It looks just like this. The adjusting knob is black, not silver, but otherwise they are identical. Are these the same model (or at least very similar) and if so, is it safe to use for my Evo 9? According to the Forge website, the FMICB051 is universal, so theoretically it should be alright, but I want to get a 2nd, 3rd, even 4th or 5th opinion.

looks like it would work, but y not just spend the extra 35$ and get the forge unos mbc? we've installed them in tons of evos and me and my co worker both have them on our evo 9's and they work great. if you want an unos, we have them in stock in polished and black for 80$ plus shipping. good luck with whatever you choose man!!

Spend a few more and get the forge unos. It has been the fastest and less pain full install yet. Its dials in 99%.

Well for me I used the Stock spring, also on the Forge RS BOV, I did have some problems getting the BOV set right( might of been due to spring type)

Boost control was sweet no problems. running 21lbs now and holding. I am sure logging it should dropped 1-2lbs but gauge is showing full 21psi up to redline

It's not that I scrimped on it, I got a pretty decent deal from a friend who said it was going to work. I have no reason to think I was getting scammed or anything, either. Looking at the Forge website, there isn't any mention of any other MBC's, so basically what I was asking was if any of you know if FMICB051 and FMCB051 were either the same item in different colors...
