odd boosting problems

ok last nite the car was fine. all day. it was pulling hard as normal. then all of a sudden it wont boost past 14psi. any gear and rpm anytime it just wont boost past 14 psi. car runs fine. idle's fine. when i jump on it it runs fine. no smoke no braking up. its like it was ment to run on 14 psi. even the afr's are low 11's. car has a forge mbc and a forge waste gate with 19 to 24 psi spring. mbc has heavy spring. car was perfect then this happen. i did not touch anything. any idea's? tia

boost leak check. holds 26psi firm

My guess is that you have a leak or your WGA is just open...

try checking the vacum line to the wastegate. it might be off or crack thus giving you only the wga spring boost limit.

definetly sounds like a wastegte issue...and the system just consistently holds the boost? weird get a friends mbc on there to eliminate that factor

check the hose that runs from the MBC to the wastegate actuator...it seems like one of the vacum lines popped off somewhere...give it a try.

well i took the mbc out of the car. i took it apart and regreased it. seems the problem is solved. why it was happening i dont no. when i took it apart the spring was seated right and it was not dirty. nothing was cloged but whatever. its fixed. as i took the mbc i checked all the lines. there fine. see what happen's in a day or so.
