Who makes a good Alky Kit?

I want to know who makes a good Alky kit for Evos. I have a 2005 Evo 8 with JUN Cams, JUN Retainers, JUN Springs, Buschur 680cc Injectors, Walbro Fuel Pump, AMS Intercooler, AMS LICP, Samco Turbo Hose, ARC Induction Box, RSR Turboback w/o Cat, Hallman MBC (set to 21.5), and ECU Flash.

I have seen the Cooling Mist, Snow Performance, and TTP kits, but I want to know which is most preferred.

Let me know.

Thanks!

hmm... How good is the SMC kit, and what kit do you recommend by them?

You might want to rethink your question. If you are asking for most preferred, you will get answers on systems that have the highest amount sold in circulation. Not necessarily the "best", the "safest", the one that fits your budget, etc.

If you would highlight some of the specifics of what you are looking for in a "meth injection kit", then you will likely find the answers and hence, the "kit" that suits you and your needs the best.

Aquamist has a pretty fancy lil bugger.
Aquamist pulses, so it will not overflood your car with unnecessary meth, also does not use as much liquid as most other kits.
Doesnt hurt that its a very well put together kit with quality parts, not random shelve parts just thrown together.

After selling well over 100 SMC trunk mount kits in the past year without onw failing, i'm very happy with it. I also used it on my last evo for 14k before i got rid of it without any problems. Its got some great features and a failsafe on the way. SMC is by far the most popular kit used in the evo community after buschur introduced SMC to it. We sell the trunk kits for 05-06 evos and they work flawlessly.

On the contrary, there have been customers in the water injection forums that have lost THREE smc meth pumps just in a one year period. That is a lot of risk.

just because smc has excellent customer service, replaces the pumps everytime they break......top notch customer service, terrible product reliability. Is the motor covered when one of these fail running at 30psi boost? Wheres the failsafe.....no action, talk only

Anyone else have any strong points on whether to choose TTP or SMC. It sounds like TTP is much better from what I have read in the forums

Aquamist is just a quality kit.. You may pay a little more then something like SMC, but the quality parts are well worth it.

I believe paying an extra hundred or two for a quality kit, with quality parts is cheaper then paying for a new engine; because your pump failed at 30psi.

Sounds like TTP is just marketing their own product. Snow Performance is awesome, and Ultimate CC can get you an amazing deal on one.
