anyways, there has been before and after comparisions for both these cams on this site. Search and figure out what suits you best.
Why would I not give an honest review of GSC products ?

If you will recall I was one of the first to comment positively about their cams for the Evo 8

I can not help it if I like Cosworth products

If I see something else I like I will refer it in a positive manner also

Now if you have the money to just throw around than get the cosi's but by the looks of it I would go with the gsc because from my experience and my customers experiences that have already had the gsc or purchased them from me they seem very very very very sastified and looks like the best bag for the buck. Also if you ever had problems with the cams greg and his staff are very helpful and are always availible. Just a thought to think about instead of going through a 3rd party dealer for cosi and getting the run around for 3 months until something is solve. Cosi's are just as good but are pretty expensive. We can go around and around debating which is better but not whose is better or how much it cost. Its all about the tune lol

Just for my info - what kind of problems have you had with cams ?

I have installed many hundreds of sets of HKS and never seen any problems with any cams

Cosworth has a US office in Cali who sells the products here

So now the company says that they were his fault not because of shipping and the story goes on and on and the final verdict was to send the cams to japan to see what happen and when you send things to japan you dont get things back for months.
I have never seen a defective set of cams or one that would not be ok to install

Btw - tales from my dyno - the Stage II Evo IX is responding fairly well to the cosworth cams

So far we made 40 TQ and 50 WHP gains with the cams and tuning

i already have an eflashed car and actually i got 298/306 at the Shop's Dynoday last Saturday. If i install the cossie cams, should i expect a 50awhp increase or less?

My car was 20awhp down from the strongest IX dynoed there,, which actually had a test pipe and custom flash. I have a HFC and an eflash.

What gains do you reckon i would get by getting the cossie cams and a retune from you?

Hey Al,

Have you done any testing on these cosi with a 35R? Also could I expect similar gains like what you showed for the stock 9 turbo.....

Holy smokes batman... If that is the StageII Evo IX you mentioned that made 360hp before the cams (with tuning), that means he's hitting 410hp with just the cams and additional tuning! WOW Please post the before and after dynos is you have the time. This would definitely seal the deal for me.

I'm ready to order my cams and wanted to see how this shakes out. I've got a BR StageII IX, and will be putting on meth, DLI-II ignition, and a coated ebay housing (from BR) this weekend. Man, those cams are right up my alley judging from your results. Nice job!

I have a set of S1's on the way here for testing and some Cosworth cams as well. We will post the detailed results when we get them.

I wasnt knocking on anyone cams I was just saying I prefer the GSC's because the quality and I personaly feel from my experience and my customers experiences that the GSC's are your best bang for your money but like I said if you have the money for the cosi's go ahead they are good but I favor the GSC's.
From what I gather the GSC and Cosworth are the same price an the real HKS are the most expensive
