problem with RSR Ex-mag

I bought an RSR Ex-mag exhaust a month ago and had a shop try and install it last night. Upon installation the mid-pipe fell a couple inches short of the catalytic converter. Plus one of the hangers was rubbing against the subframe and another hanger did not even have a mushroom head and kept on slipping off. Should I return it to where I purchased it and demand a refund? I don't want to go through the hassle of welding an extension to the mid-pipe in order to make it fit. I don't understand why this exhaust does not just bolt right on like my HKS did. Manufacturer defect?

The difference between your HKS and the RSR is that HKS USA along with Greddy actually test fit exhaust systems on US cars to ensure fitment. There are people out there that have the RSR, without fitment issues. Possibly you have an ealier model that was designed for a JDM car or for the wrong car. Either way I would call the place you got it from and explain your problem to them. Hope you get it resolved.

i've searched for what others have said about their rsr exhausts and it seems like there's no problem with fitment. this is the first time i've ever bought an exhaust that doesn't just bolt up like it should.
