Would you take a free XS Power intercooler?

If one of your friends offered to trade you straight up his XS Power intercooler for your stocker (this includes lower pipe) would you do it? One of my boys is returning his car to stock so I got the chance for a freebie... should I take it? Only reason I ask is that, well, it's XS Power. As we all know, it's not the greatest.

BTW, in the near future I'll be buying a Nisei Comp core anyways, but is it worth it for the time being?

If your going to change it in the future anyway, it wouldn't hurt to put taht on. The best thing to do would be to dyno with stock IC , then dyno with XS power IC to see how much of a difference it is.

You want to send me the dyno money? It's not exactly cheap out here (Hawaii)... there's only one shop with an AWD dyno, and they can charge whatever they want. I do have my dynos with my stocker, but I won"t be dynoing again until I get my next round of parts.

After upgrading the FMIC, it is recommended that you retune.

If you lived around here in NYC , Id pay for the three runs just to see the results.

I'll be retuning, just not on the dyno.

If I was in NY, I'd definately take you up on that offer. Then again, if I was in the mainland I wouldn't have to shell out twice as much to dyno.

I'ma take him up on his offer... the LICP would be worth it alone.

IMHO i wouldnt because your factory one is efficiant for the mods that you have right now and if your gonna get a nisei core then just keep your stock one for now its fine and you might need you stock one in the near future whos knows whats gonna happen. BTW i love the nisei core i think its the best one out there for the evo i have a greddy and my friend has a nisei and his is a lot better
