I have 1100 dollars to spend, and I am looking to get the best bang for my buck. I was going to make the trip to Vishnu tomorrow, but i decided to get opinions from fellow EVO owners.

So does any one have any?

Maybe a little over 1100, but if you do your homeowrk you can find them all relatively cheap. Oh and put your flame suit on.

Is your Evo 8 totally stock? If modded please list your mods, then people will have an easier time helping you. Also, what are your goals for the car?

If you just wanna a little more power, TBE, flash, drop in, and boost controller.

In his sig he says BPU, so i am assuming he has at least a TBE MBC and a tune.

That being said, save up $100 more and get alky + cams. Or buy used...

Vishnu is the WORST way to spend that money.

 

I went with Tuning Technologies instead of Vishnu. I was happy with my results (just begging for more AND cant go wrong with them)

 

It was BPU, but thanks to our local Drag net, i had to take it all off. I'm Back to square one. I all ready have a K&N drop in, aem intake, catback, greedy bov.

Thats about it. I was thinking of the flash. Since Vishnu is close it would be easy.

 

In that case, get a downpipe unless noise restrictions are an issue. But for the most part I am with KO, save for alky and cams or look for a used deal. Its the biggest gain and the last big step you have to take really. Other than that a turbo upgrade is about the only thing to do, but that obviously isnt what you are asking. Alky and cams are a mod that will keep on giving throughout the build life of the car.
