Is this an actual QTP downpipe, or is it just a QTP cutout welded into an aftermarket downpipe you purchased? Also, are you using stock cat and cat back exhaust with the downpipe, or are these parts also upgraded?

Thanks,

subscribed! I am in the market for the QTP or 3 inch TBE. Cant decide right now. Is this the one with the new motor and stronger seals? A friend of mine called recently and they said it wasnt available right now.

down pipe now in production

well i was the last evo test fitted with the down pipe i will try to send pics of it on the car. it is the evo down pipe not qtec on a after market exhaust. i am using the stock cat and have megan racing 3" cat back. with no boost controller. running stock boost with full exhaust, and with the qtec open boost increases 3.5lbs.

hmmm...sounds to me like he has the QTP dp w/ the cut-out then the stock cat and a megan cat back

It wouldnt really make sense to put a cut-out after the stock down pipe and cat...

Thanks for the clarification. I assume you got a discount for leting them test fit on your car, but what will the retail price be on these?

i seen this at SEMA, I would run it on my Evo IX since it's a daily driver. Product looks great, the cutout was built right into the downpipe. It looked like you can have your factory cat/cat back installed which would be great for street/strip.

thats what i have but qtp is garbage

look at race ready from jegs.com

lifetime warranty on anything.. even if u break it over a speed bump somehow theyre fix it...

i've had it for 6 months now and no problems...

my friends had his for 4 years and no problem.

with the qtp it never fully close's all the way so theres always just a little sound or rattle coming out of it. not from day one.. but youll def here it after a month or 2

i have mine welded into the testpipe with an after market downpipe

cheers!
