Megan Manifold vs Buschur Manifold

I currently have the Megan exhaust manifold and im about to put on my Buschur 3065 which comes with their own exhaust manifold. Wat i was thinking is the benefit from the Megan that already have a bung for an egt probe that i will be putting in with my Zeitronix wideband. Which manifold do you think i should go with?

I never used the Buschur but I just purchased a Megan racing . Judging by the looks, the Megan looks really nice however I have to wait to see the perfromance and fitment.

I had a Megan, there is no performance gain with that manifold. I sold it with my 20g9-5 about 9 months ago. The megan is designed for the stock twin scroll so im not sure how you would use it with Buschur's kit anyways.

the megan manifolds are prone to problems. cracking is the big one. i had one and it cracked on me.i also had issues with the plugs for the egt bung flying out under boost. defintely go with the buschur unit.much better piece and better quality.

If I had to guess I'd say Megan won't fit, but go ahead and try if you'd like.

I wouldnt bother with a megan... I had 2 of them and both cracked badly.. Theres a guy here that dynoed his stock manifold, took it off and installed the megan on the same day, dyno and he lost 9-10wtq in every run and picked up 3-4whp.. I have my stock ported one on and i like it much better.. Car has a lot of low-midrange torque and good top end... The only thing i miss is how the car sounded after the megan mani was installed

Well that answers my question! since the bung is junk neways, no point in going with that

I thought i read the 3065 is a t-3 flange, so wouldnt that mean it bolts up stock fit? i also thought buschurs manifold was just a ported out stock manifold? guess ive been way off lol

Even if it could fit David Buschur already proved that the cast manifolds can do 9's, so whats the point besides looks? No worries just do the research and you'll be fine!

I have had mine Megan on for close to a year and have never had a problem, but i have heard about the cracking before. my whole idea was that megan already had the bung but that seems to be junk as well. and now the megan actually loses torque, so im going with the nice buschur manifold
