Their SS system is pretty light that I doubt it would even be worthwhile to mass produce one. I'm sure they could do it if you fronted the money for one-off pieces but I don't see them doing it for profit.

with greddy having a 80mm ti catback and other company's as well i think pricing will be the bigest eye popper. plus if ams made a 80mm ti catback i hope it is as strait as posible.

Would you say to go with the Greedy Ti rather than the AMS TBE because its lighter, or is it louder too. I love the sound of the AMS but want something louder and poss lighter?

the greddy ti is 10lbs just for the catback. it is said to be one of the loudest exhausts out there. plus it is 80mm. ams's i think is just true 3 inch. 76mm.

greddy ti comes with a price tag though.

I know ams is hot right now everyone want a piece of them. But if they where to make a ti catback LOL the would mark up the price so high you would have to get a greddy ti or go with a jdm ti catback.

Plus you dont even know how much ti is its like 90 bucks for 6in's along plus the welding supplies it cost way to much.

is the greddy ti one of the loudest exhausts out there? I love mine to death and it doesn't seem THAT loud. I could be going deaf though

Yes, the Greddy Ti is ridiculously loud, but if you only have a cat-back, then it is probably not too bad. In conjunction with a DP and test pipe, it's loud loud loud.

Mr 800hp, you're saying you think it would be wise for them to make a full Ti TBE when their SS TBE already costs $1000? Does anyone make a full TI TBE? If so, I haven't heard of one. Most of the Ti exhausts you see out there are just cat-backs. I have also seen the occasional Ti test pipe, but I haven't seen a full Ti TBE. I would guess a full Ti TBE from AMS would be around $1500 and would make the same power as their regular $1000 TBE, the same power as an $800 BR TBE, and the same power as many other $600-800 TBEs. It would be the lightest out there, but would you pay double the normal price to gain no power only to save 10-12 lbs? You can save 20 with a mini-battery.

PS. That's a risky screen name for someone who doesn't have an Evo yet...

Hmm, typically, if you put something like that in your screen name, it's indicative of what you have. One prototype that hasn't gone into production doesn't count.

"We took turbocharged car exhaust tuning one step further in the development of the complete turbo back exhaust, CONCEPT G BLUE.

This complete system includes a full SUS304 stainless downpipe and cat delete pipe that have thicker construction to withstand the heat of extreme exhaust gas temperatures. The
catback portion of this system features lightweight SUS304 piping with a specialized full Inconel tip."

there is no such thing you cant make the downpipe out of ti because it cools way faster then a ss dp. I remeeber asking about this a long time ago and anyone that makes turbo backs will tell you the reason why i cant explain it but. Some guru will give you the reason why.
