We have tested a TON of different evo springs here and we have found the supertechs to be the most stable.

The only down side to the dual springs is that they require new valves seals and of course new seats. these are good to 10500.

The Supertech single springs are also very good. same pressure as the dual not as stable as the duals though, they dont require new seals, or new seats. they can be run as high as 8500 with out extra harmonics.

So for someone running a stock or stockish turbo, the Supertech Singles would be all they'd need. I'm beginning to consider these for the ease of install and that they don't need anything extra.

The supertech singles don't need anything extra to be installed right? Just get the springs+retainers and call it a day?

correct, u shouldnt be revving to 8500 on the stock rod bolts anyway. youre risking a lot by going that high on them. id say 8k would be the limit. at the track i rev to 8k on the stock valvetrain, on the street i really try not to push over 7700

So all that is needed for the install on a set of single springs is just the springs+retainers and that's it?

Now Im looking into getting 272 cams. I have a stock turbo for now and Im looking into the new FP green. But before that I want to get the head done. So im looking into springs/retainers, and valves. Would it be worth it to get these dual springs and retainers? And get the seats and seals sense they are need. Then have the car tuned to rev to 9k? I know its not that good for the rod bolts but if I were to get APR rod bolts would I be good then, or is that just to much for the engine?? And when doing this is there anything else I should look into doing. Like 5 angle valve job?Port and Polish?
