Quick exhaust question
Hey guys,
I have a evo IX (mods in sig) I was wondering if a Megan manifold and 02 housing will make anymore power, is it worth it. Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance.

I'd say yes. The O2 is still pretty restrictive on the IX. Plus, it's only like $350 for both parts.
I just installed the Megan mani and O2 on Saturday. I'm still on stock exhaust though (I got the mani as a gift and did it all at once). I don't really feel a big difference, but it definitely sounds better.
If you choose to do this, remember to add some mods that reduce engine movement to help protect the manifold from cracking.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Please search.
There are a ton of threads on exh. mani's. The ported stock mani will be better and wont crack. Ill be putting on a PPi ported and coated mani myself very soon. As well as a coated SS O2 housing.

No reason to get the tubular exhaust mani unless you want something that will crack on you. The o2 is a good idea, but with as much power as you're supposedly putting down already, I'm not sure there's much left to gain on pump gas. Typically, though, the ebay o2 is a great mod for less than $100. If you want to do the manifold, then just port and coat your stocker.
As Smike said, there have been countless threads on this, so it was not a good thread to create - you apparently did not bother to search but expect us to help you anyway. Not cool.
