First off, I do not have an EVO, BUT, I am using an OEM EVO VIII intercooler on my mirage. The question is, for those of you who have upgraded, and kept you stock IC piping, was there any mods made to mount the new intercooler? New pipes, couplers, mounting tabs? Anything?

I may want to upgrade intercoolers eventually without having to re-do any piping, and I like the EVO intercoolers because with the way the pipes curve down out the end tanks helps me keep my fog lghts

So if no modification to anything like the mounting tabs and or piping would be great, I just wanted to clarify.

 

There are some aftermarket intercoolers than dont require differnet pipes to run, and some that do. If you shop around a little bit you can find the ones that dont require new intercooler pipes that those would be the ones you want to consider.
