Reseting Ecu

Is there any way to reset the ecu for a service engine soon light besides disconnecting the battery. Mine comes on once in a while and its a pain in the A** to keep Fixing The presets on my radio. I heard there is two fuses under the hood but I can only find one.

Er, first of all, I think you should be more worried about what the CEL is moreso than figuring out how to clear it. Do you even know what codes you're getting? You can use a pocketlogger, datalogger, or scantool to read and clear the codes without disconnecting the battery. Until you can get one, you should go to Autozone the next time it happens and find out what the code is. Then, you should come back here and search for that code to see if it's common and to see how to fix it. I think it would be better to FIX THE PROBLEM rather than worry about the presets on your radio getting wiped out, wouldn't you?

Lastly, turn off your damn CAPS LOCK. The forum bot tried to fix your CAPS LOCK but it ends up capitalizing the first letter of each word in the process.
