Questions on oil lines RNR guys look!
These are the lines i have here in the picture. These were the lines that were sent to me when i bought this kit from a member on here. What i need to know if these are the correct lines i need to use or what i need to buy to make this work. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks alot. THis kit also does not use water lines so those will not be pictured just be the return and feed lines

Well the longer one will not fit over the adaptor for the oil pan nor the turbo. And the smaller bigger line doesnt appear to be long enough to go from the oil pan to the turbo? unless im looking at this all wrong please let me know thanks alot

The longer (smaller) line goes from the head to the top of turbo (oil feed line) just like how the stock turbo receives it's oil feed.
The second oil line the short, wider one goes from bottom of turbo to oil pan, you will have to cut the stock metal oil drain and them slip the oil line over it.
Judging from the pictures they look like the correct lines .
Hope that helps.

I had an RNR GT30 kit. The lines they provided leaked like crazy. Don't try to use hose clamps on steel braided lines and push lock fittings. Also, their oil pan fitting did not sit flush against the pan. Buy yourself some nice 10 AN fittings for the oil return line. I'd also pick up billet 10 AN male fittings for the oil pan connection and turbo. It's the Mitsu style fitting, not the Garrett fitting. I bought mine from XtremePSI. You can find it under "fittings" in their "Do It Yourself" section. It's also very difficult to bend the short section of braided hose from the turbo to the oil pan fitting. You might want to check the angles, then pick up the correct 10AN fittings (45 or 90 degree bend). The hi-temp blue hose also works fine. It's much more flexible. You can usually pick up a pre-made oil feed line with a banjo fitting for the cyl head and 4AN female end for the turbo. ATP Turbo has a good selection of fittings. If not, you can make your own oil line with the braided hose you have and some Aeroquip or Earls fittings. I bought mine from a place called A1Racing.com. Tons of AN fittings for much less than you would pay for Aeroquip. Definitely do it right the first time. It's a pain to fix after everything is installed.
I had coolant line leaks when I first installed my GT30r kit, but just tightened them up and no problems since. I also haven't had any oil leak problems.
I guess to each is their own. Nothing wrong if you want to invest in some better fittings and lines like DEL_TURBO suggest.

I have the same kit(RNR non-bb 50trim). The oil feed line(longest ss line)goes to the extra port on the oil filter housing for non-bb turbo's. The bb turbo's feed off the head at the stock location. Those pics in that link you posted are quite blurry and its hard to tell what fitting you got for the oil feed line but it should be a 90 deg brass fitting. As for the oil return, I ended up cutting 3/4" off of the length of the provided ss line so that it would line up better with the oil pan. I wrapped the end of the line with electrical tape where the clamp would be seated. I also used a little grey rtv at both ends. No leaks as of yet from the oil feed or return. Here's some pics that may help.

This just shows how I routed the oil feed along the side of the oil pan.

Figured I'd throw in a pic of the looped coolant lines

I searched some more through my pics and found two that show you what the oil feed line fittings should look like.
The brass 90deg fitting at the end of the line goes to the oil filter housing

The last picture in post #9 shows the fitting for the oil feed line into the turbo. Does anyone know the fitting size that goes into the turbo? The one that came with the kit is a M10 1.0. I think the turbo is a M10 1.25. I think I might have the wrong fitting. Does anyone know where to pick one up, if its wrong?
